Still inside the farm, my brother Andrea, in his “IL MUSTIAIO” cellar located in the area adjacent to the riding school, produces excellent Maremma Toscana DOC wine. Made from farm grapes that, carefully hand-picked, reach the transformation cycle in a few minutes allowing all the organoleptic qualities to be preserved intact.

The “IL MUSTIAIO” cellar has at its disposition a welcoming tasting room, where it is possible to hold GUIDED WINE TASTING of the wines produced, accompanied by samples of schiaccia bread, pecorino cheese and Tuscan salami.

The Maremma Toscana DOC wines

BAIOSCURO – An elegant, important wine with an intense aroma of ripe fruit and spicy notes of vanilla and oak. Aged 12 to 24 months in Austrian oak tonneaux. From grapes: 70% Merlot – 30% Sangiovese.

LEARDO – Pure Vermentino, fresh and savory, full bodied and persistent. A white wine to pair with fish but also with white meats, soups, and medium-aged cheeses.

CERVATO – Enveloping, for the whole meal, with a complex fruity and herbaceous scent due to a skilful blend of Sangiovese – Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot grapes.

GUIDED TASTING on reservation for groups of 10 to 40 people.
